Who are we?

The London & South Coast Bus Group, a preservation society with a passion for keeping older, now retired vehicles in operational condition. Our goal is to rescue and preserve cars & buses that used to run here in the south of England.

Each bus will have its own story to tell, no matter the type. By preserving these vehicles, we’re not only keeping a part of transport history on the road, but also giving people the chance to experience them first-hand & letting them be able to experience these buses just as they once were when last used in passenger service. We want to make sure these vehicles aren’t just museum pieces, but living examples of transport heritage. By maintaining, and running them.

We aim to open up these buses to the general public and other enthusiasts, by going to events, rallies, and open days once we acquire the first bus. This will allow us to make sure they are enjoyed by as many as people as possible for the foreseeable future.

As mentioned, we have yet to acquire our first bus, but efforts are certainly being made and spirits are high. It's looking like we may get our first one by December. Follow our socials or keep track on the updates page for more information regarding our acquisition.
